| Description | This course will take delegates on an exploration of A/S and A2 Music courses, covering key elements of all UK specifications, with the focus on the top grades. Delegates will explore teaching techniques in a practical way, as well as examining the assessment criteria for the highest level. There will be an important focus on teaching the key skills of advanced level musicianship and an appreciation of the social and historical context in which music is created. This approach to teaching A Level encourages and enables students to produce insightful and relevent work, as well as matiure communicative practical work. The tutor will share examples of high grade written work and delegates will recieve detailed schemes of work and lesson plans.nted will also be addressed. |
