Description This one day course will explore a variety of approaches to teaching and learning in RE in order to engage pupils and help them to make good progress. There will be a focus on practical activities to try out and take away, including varied approaches to RE, engaging pupils in handling texts, using visual resources effectively, planning enquiry-based learning in RE and applying research into how the brain works. Teachers will take away at least ten practical and ready to use classroom ideas for 11-16s, including access to the presentations, downloadable from the RE Today website after the course. Cost: £160 (RE Today subscribers); £190 (non subscribers)
