Description This course will provide you with an overview of the changes to the new assessment procedures, recording and reporting within the new National Curriculum framework especially for children and young people with SEND currently working within P levels.  It will look at how to measure progress without levels and the implications for the Ofsted inspection process.  In addition, it will ponder the future of RAISEonline and league tables.

Details

This course is being run by Lorraine Petersen who has 25 years' experience in the mainstream school environment as a teacher and head teacher. From 2009 to 2013 Lorraine was CEO of nasen, a charitable organisation supporting all those who work with children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities. Since November 2013 she has worked as an independent consultant. Lorraine has been involved in a number of projects with many agencies including the Department for Education (DfE). She has also been a chair, a keynote speaker and a workshop facilitator at many national and international events and conferences as well as a consultant for a number of national organisations.
