This course is aimed at middle leaders and this course aims to achieve the following: examine the difference between leadership and management within a personal context; explore and understand the different leadership strategies; identify different leadership and management styles; understand the importance of culture and the leadership skills needed to influence it; recognise the need to develop capacity in oneself and others

This course is run by Sue Sayles who was a primary teacher for 30 years, a head teacher for 21 years and is a past president of NAHT. In her role as a head teacher, she helped to develop six head teachers from within her own staff.
