The Level 4 Certificate for Music Educators assesses learners in understanding how children and young people learn in music; planning, facilitating and evaluating musical learning, reflective practice and professional development, promoting children and young people's positive behaviour, equality, diversity and inclusion, and safeguarding. This qualification was developed by the DfE in consultation with the music education sector.
|How users/participants can evaluate success||
The programme teaches Reflective Practice techniques which are specifically designed to help participants measure the impact of their teaching on pupil outcomes.
|Follow-up activities and support||
Up to 2 years' 121 mentoring provided whilst on the programme.
Available as either a live-learning course in the West Midlands region, or through Distance Learning anywhere in the UK.
