Workshop 1 : Bloomin’ Brilliant (1 hour)
Practical activities to explore how Bloom’s Taxonomy across a range of topics enables excellent teaching in the everyday classroom
Workshop 2: Challenge Corners and Teasers (1 hour)
Practical activities to explore how ‘challenge corners’ and other practical approaches, that you can do from tomorrow, enable and engage learners of all abilities
Workshop 3: Differentiation and Rich Tasks (1 hour)
Practical activities to focus on a range of effective differentiation approaches with everyday pace, stretch and challenge in mind
Workshop 4: HOTS not MOTS (1 hour)
Practical activities to explore how verbal and visual questioning challenges and supports pupils’ higher order thinking skills, self-confidence and independent learning
Workshop 5: Practice not just Policy (1 hour)
Practical activities to produce indicators of effectiveness to look/listen out for in the everyday classroom to ensure that what your Policy (any policy!) says is true in Practice
Workshop 6: Thinking Hats and Other Thought-Ful Stuff (1 hour)
