Description We provide in-house school support on how to utilise technology correctly. From using current technology and resources to the purchasing of new equipment we will be able to support your school. If you need specific training for teachers, support staff and children we will also help with this. This is a much more cost effective and efficient way to take full advantage of the resources and equipment you have in your school

How users/participants can evaluate success

We get all users of the consultancy service to review the effectivness of the work on the day. Regular contact with the users would come via email and other media. Schools would also be able to record usage of software and any outcomes such as work by the students to measure effectiveness of the consultancy

Follow-up activities and support

Work would be continued between sessions in order to build on previous learning. Tasks would be set that the consultant could return to school and build on progress Support would also be provided by skype of other type of web conferencing

Details

Consultancy for technology usage and support is provided by Maggie an experienced primary teacher and IT coordinator who is also undetaking an MA in ICT in education at Kings College London.  She will work in school with all staff to help develop their confidence in using technology in a variety of subject areas within the primary sector
