Description This is a one day interactive course that looks at the basic principles of creating an outstanding lesson. This includes and showcases different types of student learning, centre based, individualised learning, students self-regulation and enquiry based learning) Passive and active learning, a variety of innovative teaching techniques in any subject areas. It also looks at ways of teaching the whole brain and engaging all the senses • Divergent learning • Questioning • Questioning techniques to encourage deeper thinking. • Lesson planning and self-evaluation. • Assessment • Showcases innovative ways of assessing teaching and learning in the classroom (£150 per person 1 day duration)
