This quickfire creative and practical CPD twilight session for teachers will both invigorate your mind after a hard day’s teaching and equip you with some innovative approaches you can use in school the very next day. Everything you’ll experience can be adapted to suit any age or ability range – and all comes with a cup of tea and a cake!
Taking place in one of Liverpool’s most innovative spaces, the Baltic Creative Campus, this workshop (part of a series of Twilight CPD sessions for teachers) has been designed to be both fun and fulfilling. What will you get out of it?
The session is aimed at primary school teachers (including maths co-ordinators) and teachers from secondary school adopting “intergrated curriculum” approaches at KS3 (including Heads of Department).
|Evidence underpinning this approach||
Although attainment in maths in primary and secondary schools is improving there is a huge demand for creative and hands on approaches that strengthen understanding and cement learning. Our session will give maths teachers and co-ordinators an opportunity to explore a range of proven, highly engaging methodologies for teaching and learning maths.
