The main aim is to demonstrate how an appropriate balance between up-to-date paper based resources and use of the best available ICT resources can create an ‘activity based learning environment’ that successfully engages all learning styles.|

Aims of the course are to: • Effective teaching and learning strategies using a variety of resources • Activities for paired and group work to enhance investigative approaches • Getting the correct balance between directing, telling, demonstrating, reflecting, consolidating and evaluating • Using ICT resources where appropriate as opposed to ‘because they are there’!
