|Description||This Advanced Diploma has evolved from the many professional development courses Fil Came (Learning Works) has run over the past fifteen years training SENCos and learning support teachers. The overall aim is to promote a positive view of the SENCo or Learning Support Coordinator as a key and influential manager working with and across the whole school community.|

The course programme is very practical and grounded, through the school focussed assignments, in the working context of each participant. It is in line with the DfE’s National Award and will enable participants to develop their professional skills and to reflect upon and critically analyse the wider issues with regard to managing the additional resources and support for children causing concern with their learning.
