Traditional English Watercolour painting is a fine art skill which can be aquired by Teachers and TAs who will then have the knowledge and confidence to teach pupils of any age range and ability.
Teachers learn exactly how and what to teach from a wide range of wonderful watercolour topics all designed to develop the creative thinking process in Children of all ages.
Both Pupil and Teacher will discover how to paint step-by-step, building individual confidence, a sense of pride, accomplishment, and satisfaction.

Hugh Templeton ( Founder of Hugh Templeton Training ) has been described as 'remarkable' in an article about his work in the TES. He was recentlly awarded 'outstanding' by Ofsted.
In the TES article Mr Templeton's watercolour work in schools was compared with that of renowned Liguist Michel Thomas who guarantees that he can get a child to learn a new language in days. Hugh Templeton proves he can do this with watercolours in hours!
His techniques to success are not a secret - they are simply tried, tested and approved units of learning, broken down into the easiest of eliments that almost anyone can aquire.

Teachers can evaluate the success of the step-by-step proceedure simply by comparing art work before and then after the watercolour training.
|Follow-up activities and support||
In the training session Teachers will be introduced to a variety of watercolour painting themes to teach. After the event there is support and advice available on how to 'weave' extra themes into the curriculum depending on their year group requirements and planning.
