Description By the end of the course delegates will understand the importance of every day Assessment practice in engaging all pupils and accelerating their progress. The statutory requirements with regard to assessment, recording and reporting will be examined, and an awareness of the general misuse of levels will be considered. The course will also look at the language of assessment in physical education and the step processes to effectively Assess Pupils’ Progress in PE. By the close of the course, delegates will know how to achieve two levels of progress across a key stage, and look at setting priorities for action and targets.
