Description Delegates will have a much deeper knowledge and understanding of Athens and its empire in relation to the other city states of Greece, such as Sparta. Such knowledge underpins the whole of the Classical Civilisation examinations. There will be an investigation of the Athenian democratic system to widen this historical outline.
