Description This course explores tried and tested methods of supporting Key Stage 2 writers in developing the motivation and resilience needed to engage in an increasingly demanding classroom environment. You will experience a range of practical activities and ‘take away today’ ideas to trial with your most vulnerable writers. These will accelerate the progress of our vulnerable children, enabling them to become independent, active participants in their learning. A key goal of the session is to equip you with strategies for raising children’s expectations of themselves as writers. Differentiation methods will be explored to motivate even those most reliant on adult support to enjoy success as independent writers.
