Description Coaching and mentoring is concerned with enabling people with their learning and development, and improving their performance. It is about helping another to create their future. It is achieved through mutual respect, support, challenge and encouragement between the people involved. It brings mutual and tangible professional benefits to ALL involved – both management and staff - including improved levels of performance, knowledge, skills, leadership, commitment, confidence and motivation. In this course you will learn effective tools, techniques and tips for effective coaching and mentoring within your school team.

Details This course will be delivered by Dr Mark & Nikki Biddiss

Mark & Nikki between them have many years' of supervisory, management and director-level experience, including staff CPD training. Nikki was a fast-tracked graduate for a national bank, by her late-20s becoming one of the youngest female directors in the bank's history, and then chose a career change into medicine, health and wellbeing. 'Dr Mark' has worked in colleges and schools since 1987. He has had four successful businesses and has written and produced several teachers’ books, CDROMs and DVDs. Mark and Nikki have also both researched and trained in the practical applications of the cognitive and behavioural sciences. To achieve all this Mark and Nikki have both needed to successfully manage stress, maintain high-levels of energy and wellbeing, and stay highly motivated to achieve their many work and life goals. They are thus both well qualified to deliver such 'life-changing' CPD training.
