Description This course seeks to give a practical insight into the setting up and delivery of the BTEC First and National Awards, Certificates and Diplomas in Sport and related topics. It is specifically designed to help heads of department, or those with responsibility for 14-19 courses, in the organisation of the course. The day will cover how to write assessment tasks and gain accreditation for your centres, best practice methods of delivery and how to assess BTEC. There will also be an opportunity to understand the moderation process and to partake in practical exercises of delivery and assessment.
