Description We are delighted to bring you a brand new online twilight CPD session which focuses on delivering outstanding PE lessons. The session will focus on the tools, resources and techniques required to deliver outstanding PE lessons and the session is applicable to KS3/4 and 5 PE lessons, including examination and vocational classes. This course is useful for all PE teachers with an interest in delivering outstanding PE lessons during lesson observations/OFSTED inspections. Delegates will develop their knowledge, skills and confidence and will have opportunities to collect information and ask questions. In order to participate in this online training delegates will need a PC with an internet connection and will require internet access during the session. They will also require their PC to be audio enabled through either internal/external speakers or headphones. The session is the second part of a two part Outstanding PE lessons series. Course Content Part 1 – A Checklist to Outstanding In this part of the session, audience members will be introduced to a simplified teaching and learning checklist which when applied successfully can be used to achieve outstanding lessons. Through this checklist audience members will be introduced to a number of learning tools and they will be shown how these tools can be applied in lessons to achieve outstanding learning in PE. This will be done by verbal feedback and by showing practical examples from lessons. Part 2 – Outside the Classroom – Developing the Culture In this part of the session audience members will be introduced to specific techniques/tools/resources which can be used outside of the classroom or in addition to learning, to try and embed outstanding learning culture in lessons and with groups of students. It is also hoped that each member will develop an Action Plan for Outstanding to aid their T&L in the future. Part 3 – Q and A Session
