Description A practical course designed to introduce the concept of Adventure Learning, and the use of team-building and problem-solving activities to improve pupils’ learning. It aims to help participants to develop outdoor activities at school that will complement learning inside the classroom.

A practical course designed to introduce the concept of Adventure Learning, and the use of team-building and problem-solving activities to improve pupils’ learning. It aims to help participants to develop outdoor activities at school that will complement learning inside the classroom.

The skills that can be targeted for improvement include: team-working, communication, problem-solving, self-confidence, leadership and decision-making.

This course can be very successfully linked with ‘Building Learning Power’ (BLP) and ‘Thinking Actively in a Social Context’ (TASC) educational concepts.
