• Human Rights and how they apply
|Evidence underpinning this approach||
All staff have the right to use force. The focus of our training is always on de-escalating situations; however it is important for staff to know how to safely and effectively intervene physically where necessary, in order to prevent a greater harm from occurring. Our ethos is that if employers are to give their staff the skills and knowledge necessary to meet legal requirements then training must be affordable, value for money and most importantly effective. Our training is internally and externally verified and quality assured by Edexcel and the National Federation for Personal Safety and where it is lawful to do so we follow the BILD code of practice.
|How users/participants can evaluate success||
