Details

Topic 1: introduction 
Introducing the definition of forced marriage and honour-based violence, understanding the features and consequences of it and some of the motivations for it. Also includes case studies and statistics.

Topic 2: signs and actions
Providing an overview of common signs of forced marriage, as well as guidance for what to do upon suspicion or discovery of it. Also covering the key points from The Family Law Act 1996 and the Anti-social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014.
