Description This course provides a comprehensive guide to the four judgements being made on: • Teaching and learning (especially of teaching and learning) • The quality of teaching • Behaviour and pupil safety • Achievement, attainment and progress Each of the key judgements will be considered in detail and delegates will obtain a clear understanding on how Ofsted will assess a school’s performance and the evidence they will use. In addition schools will be given tools to self-evaluate their performance and resources to use with staff to strengthen performance. BIG questions running through the Ofsted inspections are what groups in this classroom/school are making progress and attaining and which groups are struggling? How well do leadership, management and staff understand why this is and what are they doing to raise attainment and close the gap?
