|Description||What’s new What’s the same What’s gone but not forgotten! This session will look at the new National Curriculum for Design and Technology at key stages 1&2. The session will highlight: • the new elements that are now included; • what stays the same; • what has disappeared from the PoS; • what will need to be done back in school to meet the new requirements to ensure the distinctive nature of D&T is maintained.|

There will three activities to use with staff back in school to develop understanding of:
• Iterative designing
• Contexts – what makes a good D&T context.
• Coverage and progression.
• Next steps for you back in school.
