|Description||How well do young children learn in your school? How do you measure and demonstrate the progress they make? Has your school adapted effectively to the revised EYFS requirements? This new course will help you to understand how Ofsted will judge your EYFS, the different ways you can demonstrate progress and how you can evaluate and develop your EYFS. This course will be a mixture of informative, reflective and practical activities delivered by a specialist consultant in their field.|

About the Facilitator
Sarah Quinn works with early years, school and children’s centre settings. She supports settings in self-evaluation processes and delivers a range of training including all aspects of provision and management. She has written articles for Early Years Educator and Nursery World about self-evaluation, leadership and management, and quality provision in the early years. She has presented training to a variety of audiences including child-minders and day care providers, local authority advisers and teachers. Sarah continues some aspects of work with inspection service providers. Sarah was a teacher and managed a foundation unit in a primary school as well as aspects of primary provision, and has been the quality assurance manager for a chain of day nurseries and care facilities. She was an early years Inspection team manager for Ofsted where she was responsible for the inspection and regulation of early years settings, induction and training for new inspectors and the investigation of complaints against early years providers. Most recently, she was the central senior managing Inspector with CfBT inspection services, conducting inspections of day care settings, schools, children’s centres and independent schools, and delivering Ofsted training to inspectors.
