Participants will be able to:

  • explain practically the distinction between erosion, transportation and deposition
  • demonstrate these processes
  • model river and coastal processes in the classroom
  • show how water can be cleaned
  • explain the water cycle by reference to a practical model
  • teach these elements of the Year 5/6 curriculum with more confidence and scientific insight
