Ideal for: All teachers at KS1, particularly those with responsibility for/ interest in drama and literacy. This one-day course will give you practical experience of approaches to introduce Shakespeare to children from their earliest years in school. Focusing on The Comedy of Errors, participants will explore the play's story, setting and characters. You will see how young children can be introduced to the language in ways that are playful, creative and highly enjoyable. Clear links will be made to children's language development and writing.
The course will take place at The Clore Learning Centre, Stratford-upon-Avon and includes lunch, refreshments and comprehensive supporting notes.
