Description An APC is a requirement for those undertaking assessments for the purpose of a Disabled Students' Allowance (DSA). The Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ) also recommended that teacher assessors carrying out assessments for Examination Access Arrangements should be APC holders. Many school and college employers also now require their specialist teaching or support staff to obtain an APC.
