Description This course looks at effective approaches to teaching and learning the important skill of writing and how to encourage learners to internalise the language they learn. It is designed to empower your students to tackle extended and detailed pieces of writing, such as those required for controlled assessment, with confidence and skill.

Participants will leave the course more confident in planning lessons, producing resources, task setting, effective differentiation, giving effective feedback which will allow learners to progress, helping students to be aware of errors and how to develop a holistic approach to the teaching of writing with all four skills integrated.

This course is led by Robert Margolis, an experienced teacher of Key Stage 3 & 4 French and a Deputy Head with a focus on teaching and learning in an 11-16 school in the Greater Manchester area. Robert is our Principal Examiner for unit 4 GCSE French writing.
