Description The course will explore teaching ideas to get students engaged with contract and/or tort law. It will cover practical teaching and learning strategies and explore stimulating teaching resources designed to develop key skills and make a positive impact on learning.
Duration You can attend one half day session or both sessions for a full day.

Contract: partipants will delve into key areas such as offer and acceptance; Sale of Goods Act 1979 and the Supply of Goods and Services Act 1982; mistake; misrepresentation and exemption clauses. Tort: partipants will delve into key areas such as negligence leading to physical loss; negligence leading to psychiatric loss; consumer protection; vicarious liability and occupier's liability.
