Description This meeting provides a forum for subject leaders to be updated on, discuss and feedback on the impact of national and local priorities for the teaching and learning of primary mathematics on pupil attainment and progress. It will also further promote collaborative ways of working within the LA by sharing good practice in leading on mathematics, teaching and learning.

This meeting provides a forum for subject leaders to be updated on, discuss and feedback on the impact of national and local priorities for the teaching and learning of middle school mathematics on pupil attainment and progress.
It will also further promote collaborative ways of working within the LA by sharing good practice in leading on mathematics, teaching and learning.
Evidence underpinning this approach

Previous meetings have shared the outcomes of collaborative teacher research including lesson study and peer mentoring

How users/participants can evaluate success

Subject leaders have frequently commented on how valuable these meetings are and how they have felt supported and confident in being actively involved in school improvement and inspection process

Follow-up activities and support

Delegates are always encouraged to try out, collaborate and share their experiences within school and within the county
