With much greater emphasis being placed on the broader curriculum, linked directly to creating a ‘knowledge-rich’ focus, the needs of our more able pupils will need to be re-addressed. In the past it was about providing them with tasks from the next sub-level. However, now the challenge is to create activities from within the same objective that requires deeper thinking and reasoning. The training aims to provide you with practical ideas in doing this across the science and non-core subjects.
