Details This course will be delivered by Geraldine Gaunt and Phil Needham. Geraldine Gaunt is a music consultant and was previously Music Adviser for Wakefield Local Authority for twenty years. She has a wealth of experience in writing materials to support music in primary schools. As co-author of the popular "Music in Action" series her work is highly respected by teachers. She is also in great demand for her music workshops that she runs across the country.
Phil Needham is Principal of Wakefield Music Education Hub and was previously Assistant Officer for Music. Prior to working with the music service, he worked for 15 years as a secondary music teacher and Head of Department being one of the few departments nationally to receive a grade 1 from Ofsted.
Geraldine and Phil both have extensive experience of teaching and writing support materials for primary aged children. They have written many publications including ‘SEAL Songs in Action’ ‘Funky Feet’ and ‘Boomwhackers in Action’ all of which have been a huge success in schools.
