Description A practical skills course combined with a set of take home resources to use back in school, helping teachers develop a wide range of inspirational environmental and nature-based Adventure Learning activities covering; science, geography and geology, engagement with nature, sustainability and the environment, environmental links to numeracy and literacy ad nature based arts and crafts.

A practical skills course combined with a set of take home resources to use back in school, helping teachers develop a wide range of inspirational environmental and nature-based Adventure Learning activities covering; science, geography and geology, engagement with nature, sustainability and the environment, environmental links to numeracy and literacy ad nature based arts and crafts.

The Outdoor Learning Card activities are aimed at KS2 and KS3 pupils, but can be adapted for use with younger or older pupils, and pupils with special needs. Each participant receives comprehensive training and a full set of learning cards and resources.

  • An introduction to the benefits of Adventure Learning
  • Directly linking Adventure Learning to the academic and wider school curriculum
  • Practical, hands-on sessions experiencing different activities and learning how to use the resource cards effectively
  • A chance to explore how these activities could benefit your pupils  
  • Discussions on adapting activities for different ages and abilities, and for those with additional needs.
