Description This course aims to help Teachers identify the changes to the Primary Science curriculum from September 2014 with guidance on implementing the changes in their schools. During the day Teachers will have the opportunity to evaluate the alternative approaches when moving from the old to the new, to improve their background knowledge of the new aspects while sampling a host of practical ideas and activities to help with the teaching of these new areas.

Details This course will be delivered by Debbie Eccles
Debbie works in a partnership known as ‘Primarily Science’, she is kept busy producing new science resources, providing consultancy and delivering science courses, conference key notes and workshop sessions. She is a Primary Professional Development Leader for the North West Science Learning Centre and a member of the SLC Primary Development group.
She has contributed to a range of innovative and well received resources including ‘Discovery Dog’ and ‘Problem Pup’ and is currently working with Kate Blacklock and Anne Goldsworthy on a ‘KS1 Enquiry Games pack’. She has recently contributed to ‘ASE Guide to Primary Science Education’.
