Description The mental health of young people in the UK is giving grave concern nationally. However, those who work with Post 16s can greatly assist in helping young people manage issues of anxiety, depression, self-harm, family and personal relationships by becoming more aware of mental health issues. Delegates on this course will benefit from learning about the causes and symptoms of poor mental health, how to approach young people who are exhibiting signs of distress and practical strategies to help you effectively support them.
