|Description||The Arts touch all aspects of our lives. They can contribute to raising children’s academic attainment and achievement, support the development of skills, raise confidence and self-esteem, impact on health and wellbeing and be truly life enhancing. Leeds is an ‘arts rich city’ and schools have a key role to play to ensure that every child has the opportunity to experience and benefit from the wonderful range of arts and cultural learning opportunities available to them. Delivered during the autumn and spring terms of 2015/6, the 2 full day sessions will provide a mix of creative workshops, interactive group activities, inspiring presentations and resources.|

Day 2 is a practical dayexploring how the arts can supportcross curricular teaching and learning. there will be presenations and workshops delivered by lead practitionersin Dance, Art, D&T, Music and Film.
