Description A highly interactive course which enables delegates to explore, through a range of innovative, practical learning activities, how to motivate and challenge secondary students and help them to make progress in learning about healthy active lifestyles. The course is designed for secondary PE teachers, trainee teachers, qualified fitness instructors and qualified teachers with an interest in exercise, health and fitness who wish to know more about using: • a range of fixed resistance machines (e.g. high pulley, leg curl, low pulley, leg extension) and a selection of dumbbell and resistance band exercises • CV machines (e.g. rowers, stationary bikes, treadmills, steppers and cross trainers) as a context for learning within and beyond the curriculum.
