Description As an experienced and outstanding ex-Headteacher (and NLE) Phil Silvester CBE has been working as an External Adviser, Consultant and School Improvement Partner since 2000 (accredited SIP since 2007). Phil has worked with a growing number of special schools, academies, federations and MATs in the south of the UK (both maintained and non-maintained) as a Consultant and (since 2007) as an accredited School Improvement Partner or SIP. Phil really enjoys providing an external view of a school's strengths and weaknesses and he is adept at offering both challenge and support, in a personalised manner. Besides performing the annual role of an External Adviser with/for governing bodies, Phil can offer workshops, course and training days on a range of subjects, including: - leadership development - the quality of in-school communication - school self-evaluation and improvement planning - monitoring - preparation for OfSTED, together with additional bespoke, tailored services as required (e.g. safeguarding audit, additional quality assurance or the impact analysis of academy or federation status or school-led initiatives etc.).
Duration Termly visits or more often (as needed); plus on-line email/Skype coaching and support
