Description Ofsted’s most recent literacy report Moving English Forward (March 2012) highlights their concern over standards in writing at Key Stage 2, especially amongst boys. The report links this to ‘weaknesses in the teaching of writing’. This course will help teachers to identify the barriers their children will need to overcome in order to be better writers. It will also offer a wealth of practical ideas which can be applied in the classroom to increase attainment levels in writing. Essential CPD is online interactive training.
