The difficulties of identifying and developing talent in sport are considered, and recent research applied to the process. This seminar encourages schools to analyse the purpose and aims of their programme, and to consider its success criteria. It then investigates the entire process of encouraging applications, running a meaningful selection mechanism and then optimising the contribution of Award holders once they are in the School.
