Description With school performance data released this week, coverage in the local press will affect the public perception of schools across England. Every year the government provides data on attainment, progress and absence in all of England's secondary schools. Media organisations, including the BBC, then use the information to compile so-called league tables. It is clear that the perception that league tables create about a school has an impact on pupil recruitment. This meeting will explore how schools can take control of such comparative school performance measures.
Duration 1 Day - Monday 13th May 2013

A number of similar meetings, focusing on comparative performance in Wales, were a huge success in the spring of 2012 and our meeting on Monday 18th March 2013 will look to build on this.
