Learning outcomes for participants/users and, where relevant, pupils or students | The course also demonstrates an innovative new resource which has been developed to assist teachers in assessing the ability of pupils against National Curriculum attainment levels, through a range of descriptor cards and film clips. Teachers attending the course are also provided with an overview of other areas of support and resource, including; cross curricular activities, competition, alternative delivery using Cardio Tennis, leadership & volunteering and how tennis can contribute to the delivery of external PE qualifications. Schools attending the course receive a free copy of the innovative new 'Secondary Schools Tennis - Teacher Resource'. In addition, schools receive an AEGON Schools Tennis equipment pack (limited to one per school and if your school has not previously received one). Schools are also provided with 1 year of free Schools Tennis Membership, which provides access to a wide range of benefits, including 30-40% discount on equipment. |

Details | There is a network of over 125 tutors approved and ready to deliver the course across Great Britain. Funding is provided through local Tennis Development Managers to enable the majority of teacher training courses to run free of charge.
