The training will address the following:

  • Developing knowledge of high quality children’s literature;

  • The use of literature to drive the curriculum;

  • Consideration of the teaching of reading and effective practice to ensure the children reach the expected standard;

  • Consideration of a range of practical approaches and ideas to engage children, ensure progress and raise standards.
