|Evidence underpinning this approach||
CLPE is well known for research based publications like The Reader in the Writer and Understanding Spelling. Our research work is based on trialling, testing and refining approaches in classrooms. We link our research to our professional development programmes to ensure that we share our findings and using examples from schools as they try new ideas or embed practices.
|How users/participants can evaluate success||
We ensure that all our professional development is rigorously evaluated - we have good systems for evaluating our day courses and inservice provision as well as sign posting future development opportunities
|Follow-up activities and support||
Each of our courses can be part of a series and we advise on the best approaches for each participant. We can also provide bespoke inservice training and development at the centre or within schools.
