Through innovation, leadership and strategies based on classroom practice, subject leaders in primary school are vital to ensuring that a broad and balanced curriculum. This includes ensuring that key skills are taught, meaningful links between subjects are made and literacy, numeracy and SMSC are embedded across the curriculum.
