|Description||Central London - 8th June 2015. This course will build your skills and confidence as a Drama teacher enabling you to teach ‘Outstanding’ lessons. The course will begin by examining the criteria for outstanding teaching ensuring a clear understanding is gained of the essential elements of the outstanding lesson. The judgements will be exemplified with examples of outstanding Drama lessons, engaging stimulus material, successful teaching techniques and excellent assessment strategies.|

The day will be a very practical one, involving activities from KS3, GCSE and A level Drama lessons. You will be given a range of strategies for developing stimulating resources, AFL techniques and differentiation to ensure good progress is made by all. You will study the essential ingredients of an outstanding lesson and how you can ensure your Drama lessons are of the highest quality. You will look at effective lesson planning that will create enjoyment and enthusiasm through the practical exploration of improvisation stimulus. During this course you will explore how to make teaching interesting to challenge and excite students in their Drama lessons.
