Description The new computing curriculum covers a range of exciting and important areas where children learn to become creative, confident users of technology. TAs and LSAs are vital in helping the teacher to deliver this subject, often playing a more practical role in lessons where they directly support children in using the software and hardware. In this course we will get hands-on with a range of topics found in the computing curriculum, giving you the confidence to support and lead computing activities in your school. Using a range of devices, programs and apps we will create animations, record podcasts, write blogs and try some simple programming. We will discuss the importance of eSafety and copyright, and you will leave full of ideas to share with colleagues. No expertise or experience required!
