Description This hands-on workshop explores strategies for making textiles accessible for students with special needs and is suitable for art or textiles teachers working with SEN students in mainstream, special or PRU settings. Delegates will explore how felt making, silk painting, embroidery, appliqué, weaving, batik and printing can be adapted to meet the particular needs of SEN students. Links will be made with other times and cultures as well as looking at artists through history to the present day.
