|Description||Turning evidence-based research into realistic classroom practice|
|Duration||09.00 - 15.00|
|Categories||Teaching and Learning, Teaching staff, Out of school|
|Learning outcomes for participants/users and, where relevant, pupils or students||
In recent years we have seen an unprecedented rise in our understanding of what works best in classrooms. Based on extensive worldwide research, teachers now have the information they need to understand which classroom interventions have the best ‘effect’.
Although the course will share the research with delegates it will focus only on what a classroom teacher can directly influence. All the ideas will be underpinned with detailed examples of how to transform this evidence-based research into classroom practice. Techniques and strategies shown have been employed all over the world by trainers Alan Jervis and Steve Garnett to notable acclaim and with exceptional results.
