We will examine:

  • how to use film to encourage discussion around Transition and anti-bullying issues
  • how film can help address issues of behaviour and classroom management
  • how to promote critical thinking skill such as observation, analysis, inference
  • using film to address issues of equality
  • the law around films in the classroom including copyright and BBFC guidelines
  • how using film can narrow gaps in access to cultural resources
